157. CHEM 16.1: Chemistry for the consumer

Abstract:Students use the tools of chemistry to investigate physical and chemical
phenomena. Quantities measured in the laboratory are used to calculate physical
properties and concentrations of products of chemical reactions. Many of the
experiments show students how household products and foods can be analyzed
using chemical reactions in which an important ingredient is a reactant.
